Caoimhe is a fully qualified Podiatrist with current membership of the SCPI (The Society of the Chiropodists and Podiatrists of Ireland). Caoimhe received her BSc. (Hons) Podiatry degree from Ulster University, Jordanstown.
Caoimhe has experience in all areas of Podiatry, having experience in both private practice and clinical settings within the NHS in Northern Ireland. Caseloads and patients ranged from routine foot and nail care, verrucae clinics, biomechanics & prescribed orthotics, surgery clinics and diabetes clinics. Coimhe has worked for 1 year in a well known clinic in Dublin .
Caoimhe enjoys all aspects of the podiatric profession, but has a special interest in routine foot care of corns, callous, verruca, biomechanics and diabetic foot care.
Sandra completed her honours physiotherapy degree in Teesside University in 2009 having first completed an honours degree in Rehabilitation studies in Wolverhampton University. She is a fully qualified APPI Pilates instructor and has skills in both acupuncture and dry needling. She has a Post Grad Certificate in Spinal Manual Therapy Sandra also has an ITEC Diploma in Sports Massage, Sports Injuries, Personal Training and Exercise Prescription.
After graduating as a Chartered Physiotherapist, Sandra worked in private practice in Drogheda gaining experience in Spinal, Musculoskeletal and Orthopaedic conditions. Sandra has worked in women’s health incontinence assessment and treatment. She has furthered her studies in Diastasis Recti testing and rehabilitation. She has also worked with the Irish ballet association, Dublin Rebel’s American Footballers, New York Shamrocks soccer team and has also worked with UCD's strength training coach with various elite athletes. Sandra has worked in Lake Taupo in New Zealand for the Rugby World Cup, she also gained experience with Iron Med competitors and junior athletes. In Australia she worked in private practice in a leading Physiotherapy company. She also worked in New York as a lead Physiotherapist. For the last 5 years she has been the Senior Chartered Physiotherapist in the VHI SwiftCare in Swords. She has built a rapport with many specialists from leading sports hospitals and clinics in Dublin. She has exceptional assessment and diagnostic skills as well as rapid referral to diagnostic imaging such as MRI, X-ray and Ultrasound. At Relief Chartered Physiotherapy we have a hands-on approach.
Lorna has a BSc in Sports Therapy and has worked in injury clinics and pitch side with a variety of teams in sports such as Gaelic football, Hurling, and Rugby.
She uses a combination of hands-on treatment and exercise prescription in order to obtain the best results for her clients. She has treated many musculoskeletal injuries and specialises in rehabilitation and injury prevention.
Working with a variety of different clients who want to improve performance or simply be pain free, Lorna uses her knowledge to treat each person’s specific needs in order to get them back to full fitness.
She is also qualified as a Pilates instructor and in combination with her skills as a therapist, she uses her knowledge on postural alignment, core strength and muscle imbalances to get optimal results for her clients.
Lorna is passionate about athletics and enjoys competing in long distance running.
Donal has always had a keen interest in Anatomy & Physiology and the ability to work with the body to obtain its best performance. He believes that health, fitness and mobility improvements can always be achieved whether you’re an average Joe or an elite athlete. His pledge is 100% commitment to enhance the health of any patient willing to make the required effort.
Donal love’s traveling and spent eight years on Cruise Ships working for Canyon Ranch Spa’s where he rose to manage a thirty strong team. A career which started in Personal training, evolved as a Physical therapist and saw him retrain as an Acupuncturist with ITEC in 2015.
Thus, his missed passion for treating and healing carried him home to acquire his Licentiate Degree in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture and Post Graduate Diploma in Chinese Herbal Medicine from the Irish Institute of Chinese Medicine in 202O. Donal runs his own “Acu Therapy Clinic” in Castleblayney Monaghan, where he has practiced as an Acupuncturist since 2018, in addition to fulfilling a position as Acupuncturist and Physical therapist for Fanning Therapies Castlebellingham.
While studying Chinese Medicine, Donal’s clinical placement was with “Dragonstyle Herbs and Acupuncture”, Smithfield Dublin, under the supervision of Sifu Kurt Scott who has over 20 years experience in Chinese Medicine and martial arts.
Dragonstyle is Ireland’s largest Chinese herbal wholesale and retail herbal supplier, they provide Donal with all of his herbal prescriptions which are prepared to the highest standard. Donal Is a Member of the AFPA, AFI, ACHI, & ANTREPI and treatments are covered by VHI Laya and most other health Insurance providers.
